Of the three numbers, second is twice the first and is also thrice the third. If the average of the three numbers is 44, the largest number is ?

Let the 2nd number is 6x.

So the ratio of 1st, 2nd and 3rd number is :-

3x : 6x : 2x

i.e 3 : 6 : 2

The Sum of these three numbers is 44×3 = 132

Largest number is => 132 × 6/(3+6+2) = 132 × 6/11 = 72
