Example 3: What is the difference between the greatest 5 digit number and the smallest 5 digit number? 1. 99998 2. 89999 3. 89990 4. 99990 Explanation The greatest 5 digit number = 99999 Smallest 5 digit number = 10000. The required difference = 99999 – 10000 = 89999
Example 4: There are 20 people in a party.
