Average of Consecutive numbers a,b,c,d is 42

So, It can be written in equation form as

(a+b+c+d)/4=42

a+b+c+d= 168

Now considering consecutive odd numbers , Just take two odd consecutive odd numbers from Preceding and Succeeding odd numbers of 42

That is 39,41,43 and 45.

So when the numbers are arranged in Ascending order, Then

A=39;B=41, C=43 and D=45

Now product of B and D is

41*45= 1845

Hence, option 3 is the correct answer.
