(c)
(d)
(e)
Answer (A) There is an error in the use of the adverb ‘badly’ in the first part of the sentence. Usually verbs are further described by adverbs. If you are trying to describe the verb itself, ‘badly’ would have been right.E.g. He acted badly in the movie. But here were not trying to describe an action. The verb ‘felt’ is not an action, but rather a state of being. So we are trying to describe her state and so we should use an adjective instead.E.g. He felt bad about not inviting me to the movie. E.g. I felt bad when he told me I cook badly.
