A large crowd of persons belonging to a particular community armed with lathis and other weapons shouting provocative slogans, claim certain piece of land as the place of their worship, which was taken  over by the people of another community by fraudulent means with the connivance of municipal and  police officials.  They had posted armed men to guard the land. A week earlier the first party was in possession of the disputed land.
