? Hindu Mahasabha was founded in 1915 with Madan Mohan Malviya as a founding leader along with others such as V.D Savarkar, Lala Lajpat Rai. The Sabha laid emphasis on Hindu solidarity and the need for social reform. ? While not supportive of British rule, the Mahasabha did not offer its full support to the nationalist movement, abstaining from participating in the Civil Disobedience movement of 1930 and the Quit India movement of 1942.
