Aman Sehrawat won the sixth medal for India in wrestling at Paris Olympic 2024.
The Indian wrestler beat Puerto Rico's Darian Cruz by a score of 13-5 in the Men's freestyle 57 Kg weight category.
Aman surpassed PV Sindhu's record to become India's youngest medal winner, at 21 years and 24 days old.
Aman hails from Jhajjar district, Haryana, where he initially took part in mud wrestling. Inspired by Sushil Kumar's silver medal win in the 2012 Summer Olympics, he enrolled at the Chhatrasal Stadium in North Delhi at the age of 10.
