First Ladies Special Railway Station of the state at Gandhinagar, Jaipur :

In this railway station, women will work on all the posts including station master, engineer, ticket checker, points man, main reservation supervisor, gateman, flag indicator.

In Rajasthan, the Gandhinagar railway station of Jaipur has become the first general railway station, which will be handled by women only. Gandhinagar Station has now become the 'Ladies Special' railway station. Women employees have been given special training to work with full confidence. 
Earlier, Mumbai's Matunga was made "All Woman Station", but it is sub-urban (suburban) railway station.

'Ladies Special' railway station :

• The 40 women team will make all kinds of work round the clock at this railway station.

• In the name of empowerment of women, North Western Railway has started this kind of unique experiment.

• Women will work on all the posts, including station master, engineer, ticket checker, points man, main reservation supervisor, gateman, flag indicator at this railway station.

• There will be women in the GRP team, even in the security of the railway station.

Gandhinagar railway station :

• Gandhinagar Railway Station Jaipur is on the Delhi Railway route.
•  About 50 trains pass through this daily. 25 trains stop at this railway station.
• Nearly 7,000 passengers of the city descend on the train at Gandhinagar railway station daily and climb to the train.
• From the station master to the pointsman at the station, the lady employee has been posted.
• Due to the presence of many colleges and coaching centers around Gandhinagar station, there are a large number of students and women coming in.

 Full protection of women :

Railways have installed CCTV cameras for the protection of women, which will be monitored from the station located at the station. It has also made Wi-Fi. A separate WHATS app group has been created for women as well. In the station, women will work in all the shifts, changing room and waiting room are also made separately. The passenger amenities at the station have also been expanded.
