At least 45 theatre artists from Bhopal, Rourkela and Vaishali staged distinctive plays touching on various aspects of life during Patliputra Natya Mahotsav organized by city-based theatre group Prangan at Kalidas Rangalaya here on Saturday. The evening kicked off with a romantic play by Karamyogi, a creative group from Bhopal. The play titled ‘Swapnlok’ revolved around the life of a woodcutter and his quest to overcome life’s obstacles in order to reunite with the love of his life. While Akshar Barvare played the role of woodcutter, Ankita Barche played his love interest. The play was directed by Nitish Dubey, an acclaimed theatre director from Bhopal.
