Explanation:

The Haryana government launched a new scheme, ‘Adapting homes for the differently-abled’. Under the scheme such persons with disabilities would be provided six months’ pension in advance for adapting their homes as per their requirement.The amount given in advance would be recovered over a period of 42 months under the scheme.Apart from this, Union Government selected Haryana as a pilot State for universal ID for persons with disability (Divyangs), for which work has already been started.
