Reiterating its focus on contributing to the government’s vision of ‘Digital India’, Intel India has inaugurated its first ‘Unnati Kendra at Common Service Centre’ (UK at CSC) in Karnal, Haryana, a part of company's ‘Ek Kadam Unnati Ki Aur’ program. Intel India, in collaboration with CSC e-Governance Services India Ltd., will set up nine such facilities across the districts of Karnal, Bhiwani, Yamunanagar, Hisar, Jind, and Kaithal to drive the relevance of PC adoption. Haryana is the second state in the country after Telangana where Intel India has extended its ‘Ek Kadam Unnati Ki Aur’ initiative. The programme aims to accelerate access to technology in non- urban India. Through the public-private collaboration in Haryana, the ‘UK at CSC’ facility in Karnal will serve as one of the common access digital learning centers for the local citizens.
