The Union Government has accorded approval for the establishment of Haryana’s 3rd Sainik School at village Matenhail in district Jhajjar thus fulfilling the long standing demand of the people of the State. A Memorandum of Agreement would soon be signed between the State Government and Ministry of Defence (MOD), Government of India for setting up of this School.State Government would provide Rs 50 crore for the construction of Sainik School on a piece of land measuring 38 acres that has been provided by Gram Panchayat, Matenhail and Rs.1.5 crore per annum towards the cost of resuming of the deed.
