Explanation:

Yamunanagar was earlier known as Abdullahpur. Before Independence, it was a small village with population concentrated around the railway station. After partition of India, many refugees from Punjab in Pakistan chose Yamunanagar as their new home and in the process adding to the culture of the town. It is now a fast growing industrial town of Haryana. The various places of tourists' delight are Adi Badri, Gopal Mochan, Chaudhary Devi Lal Herbal Park, Kathgarh Herbal Park etc.
