Mr Manohar inaugurated the web portal of Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (H-RERA) of Panchkula and Gurugram.The Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authorities of Panchkula and Gurugram have been set up to balance the interest of all the three stakeholders- allottees, promoters and real estate agents/brokers. Apart from redressing the complaints of the stakeholders, the H-RERA also ensures protecting their rights.
In view of the complications faced by the people in unplanned real estate sector, the State Government has set up one H-RERA exclusively to deal with cases of Gurugram, the highly populated and developed city, and another authority in Panchkula to deal with real estate issues of rest of Haryana.The Panchkula Bench, headed by former IAS officer Rajan Gupta, has jurisdiction over rest of the Haryana except Gurugram. The Gurugram Bench has jurisdiction over Gurugram and is currently headed by another bureaucrat KK Khandelwal.
