Shanno Devi (born 1 June 1901) was an Indian politician and a member of the Indian National Congress from the state of Punjab. Devi was the first woman speaker of a State Assembly in India.She was the speaker of the Haryana Legislative Assembly from 6 December 1966 to 17 March 1967,and the deputy speakers of the Punjab Legislative Assembly from 19 March 1962 to 31 October 1966. Perhaps till date she is the only female speaker of Haryana Vidhan sabha.
