Aurangzeb
Babar
Shah Jahan
Jahangir
The followers of the Santani sect had rebelled against Aurangzeb in 1672.Regarding this rebellion, Persian historian Khafi Khan writes that in Narnaul , a pawn (foot soldiers) of the tigress (revenue officer) broke the head of a Satnami farmer. It took Saturnis as tyranny and killed that soldier. The Shikshad sent a team to arrest Satnamis, but he was defeated. Satnamis considered it an attack against their religion, and they declared a rebellion against the king. He killed Narnaul's faujdar and established his free power and started earning revenue from the people there. Day-to-Day Violence Increases Meanwhile, the landlords and the Rajput warlords took advantage of the opportunity to take possession of the revenue.
When Aurangzeb got the news of this rebellion, he killed many thousand rebel Satnamis by the efforts of Raja Bishan Singh, Hamid Khan and some Mughal warlords, the survivors ran away. Thus the revolt was crushed.
