To make students of schools and colleges aware about the ill-effects of drugs, the Special Task Force (STF) of Punjab started ‘Buddy Project’. STF IG Promod Ban said the project would cover all government and private schools and colleges of the state.While holding a review meeting of SDMs and Police Officers from five districts about the DAPO programme, Ban said the “Buddy Project” would involve principals, teachers, students as well as their parents. He said this project is based on mutual interest and positive construction for a healthy and productive school/college environment. The buddy project will be led by class teachers and will be supervised by principals and district education officers.
