Explanation:

State Health Systems Resource Centre, Haryana (HSHRC) is an autonomous body set up in May 2012, for advising the Health Department, Government of Haryana on strategic planning and implementation of Health & Family Welfare services in the state. It was created in line with the guidelines received from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India to serve as an apex body for providing technical assistance to department of Health, Haryana.
In a recent initiative HSHRC established Gender Health Support Centres named ‘Sukoon’ in eight district hospitals with an objective to provide all possible support & counselling to women affected by sexual and gender based violence. HSHRC is also actively involved in research studies to gather evidence for suggesting policy changes wherever needed.
