Explanation:

Panchkula administration has set up flood control rooms at district and sub-division levels for residents to alert about any water-logging or flood-like situation anywhere in the district on 27 June 2016.

A Central Flood-Control Room has been set up in Mini-Secretariat, Sector 1 and people can call on 0172-2562135 and can submit the complaints. A district official official will always remain on duty in the Control Room, who will further alert the department concerned to take action. The number will be functional round the clock.
