Explanation:

 Nirmand is a sprawling village in the Kullu district. Known for its mythological link to Parshuram Rishi, the village is believed to be the location of where the Rishi settled the Brahmins, while carrying on his battle for eliminating the Kshatriyas. To honour this tradition, the village houses a temple complex and fortress like structure called Parasram Kothi.
