On a pilot basis, the state’s first PMK inaugurated by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar at Civil Lines Police Station in Karnal.This PMK will provide facilities like registration of grievances, registration of missing property, cyber cafe verification, hotel registration and police participation in community liaison.Each PMK would be equipped with modern facilities wherein a police officer would be in charge and the rest would be computer experts, all in mufti. Complaints would be settled in a fixed time frame.A fee of Rs 50 would be charged for character certificate, verification for employment, police clearance certificate, permission for function, procession or demonstration, domestic help verification and tenant verification. All these facilities would be provided within 15 days.The fee for seeking information under the RTI Act will be Rs 10 and the desired information would be provided within 30 days.
