Explanation:

The Haryana Health Department launched the Rapid Immunization Program from 7th October under Mission Rainbow Program in 4 districts of the state. These include Mewat, Palwal, Faridabad and the urban gurudrams.

Many steps are being taken by the government to reduce the mortality rate of children below the age of 5 years. This program will also reduce the infant mortality rates.Vaccine was given to 965514 children and 249598 pregnant women from Phase 1 to 4 of Mission Indradhanush, out of which 217358 children received complete immunity from TB, polio, diphtheria, tetanus, pneumonia and other deadly diseases.
