When did the 29th National Road Safety Week is celeberated in Haryana ?

Under the 29th National Road Safety Week in Haryana, all sections of the society will be alerted to traffic rules from 23rd to 30th April. A letter has been issued by the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways to all related departments and institutions in this regard.While giving information about this in Karnal, IG (traffic and highways) Sanjay Kumar said that in every road accidents, more than one and a half lakh people die every year in India, which is the biggest tragedy.
He informed that Transport Commissioner, Vikas Gupta has instructed to prepare a special plan on behalf of the Road Safety Council in this regard. He informed that in the year 2017, the Road Safety Club was set up by the Transport Department in all the colleges of Haryana, whose activities are satisfactory. Apart from this, the colleges which are sending and planning for road safety activities are also being provided financial assistance of Rs. 50 thousand on behalf of the government.He informed that in the February-March, the All-Haryana Road Safety Chetna Yatra -2018 was carried out by the Transport Police in collaboration with the Department of Transportation in which more than 3 lakh students and teachers would be assistants. During this visit, more than 2 thousand students made the road safety on the road, while 10 thousand students wrote stories about the victims of the accident.
He said that the Nation has decided to celebrate the road safety decade from 2011 to 2020. This campaign is an attempt to realize this concept. He informed that in the year 2018, a national seminar will be organized in all the Universities of Haryana. In addition, a joint soft skill course of the users, drivers and traffic police personnel will be organized from July and a joint workshop of all government and non-governmental organizations related to the health sector will be organized, through which it will be informed that immediately after the accident After how to provide treatment to the victim.
