The Haryana government has declared Manesar as new police district to strengthen the law and order in the area.

The idea behind declaring Manesar a police district is to keep a check on the incident of crime and road accidents and provide better administration to the people of Gurgaon district.Manesar falls in Gurgaon district.Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has approved a proposal in this regard.Khattar has also accorded approval for getting requisite number of staff for the newly declared police district on which an annual expenditure of over Rs 3.85 crore would be incurred.Earlier, Hansi was declared a police district.
