Gorkha Chief Amar Singh Thapa freed Kutlaid, Suket, Mandi and other hill states from rule of Kangra Kingdom and defeated Bushahr Kingdom army; the Kings of Guler and Chamba came to meet Amar Singh Thapa. Amar Singh reached to Jwalamukhi and offered tribute to Devi goddess there. All the kings with army and Gorkha army led by Amar Singh Thapa forwarded and surrounded Kangra Fort. The foreign armed forces as rohilas, Maratha etc in Kangra Army fled due to fear of Amar Singh Thapa.
