Gai River emerges from Sissi river and flows through Dhemaji district in Assam. Bharali river passes through Sonitpur district and joins Brahmaputra near Tezpur. Dihang is the name of Brahmaputra in Arunachal before it enters Assam. Dibang flows through Lower Dibang valley in Arunachal Pradesh. So, location of Gai river is between Dihang and Subansiri river.
