The Gadar movement had broad international and national dissemination in various countries and various regions of India. More than 200 members of the Gadar Party were martyred; served more than 315 life sentences in 'Kalapani' (Andaman jail) and over 122 served long prison terms. In January1 1912, Sarabha, a promising student from a little over 15 years old, came to America. He joined UC Berkeley in December 1912 and met Lala Bhai Parmanand Hardyal and they were soon to lure the revolutionary nationalism of the Gadar movement. The pillar of the Gadar Party was a large number of migrant workers from Punjab living in the USA and other countries. Sarabha soon became the driving force behind the paper Gadar and his colleagues referred to him as the "Human Dynamo, energetically and tirelessly care tasks Urdu and Punjabi translation and editing the paper.
