Dher Majra is an archeological site associated with the Indus Valley Civilization in Rupnagar district in the Indian state of Punjab.
Bara is located 6 km east of Ropar and was excavated in 1955 and 1971 by Y.D.Sharma on behalf of the ASI. The 4 m thick accumulation here revealed a single culture throughout, although the deposit has been divided into lower, middle and upper levels. The site is extremely rich in a distinct class of pottery made of well-levigated clay, the pottery is wheel-turned and possesses a fine and consistent texture.
Sanghol-This Archaeological Site Museum was established in 1990 to display the many ancient treasures that were discovered in 1984 during excavations.
