The share of agriculture and allied sector in the Gross State Domestic Product in the year 2019-20 was 18.7%, in the year 2018-19 the gross cropped area was 74.06 lakh hectares which means 144 percent cropping intensity, in Bihar 163.80 lakh in the financial year 2019-20 Tonnes food production has been recorded.
