A Coffee Table Book depicting spiritual journey of 9th Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib was released by Sports, Youth Services and NRIs Affairs Minister Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi.
The book has a great significance at the moment when the 400th Prakash Purb of Ninth Guru Sahib is being celebrated with great zeal and fervour.
The book is titled “Spiritual Journey of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib” and it depicts the pious journey of Guru Sahib from his birth till unparalleled martyrdom.
The Sports Minister, while releasing the book, commented that Guru Sahib’s teachings of religious tolerance, freedom of faith, love, compassion, sacrifice and valour have gained immense significance in contemporary times when communal and divisive forces have become strong and have been actively indulging in creating divisions in society.
The book has been compiled by lawyer Harpreet Sandhu and Prof. S.S. Marwaha.
It is a pious work in sacred memory of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib who left a deep imprint of his personality and trails in the annals of our history.
It is a beautifully portrayed book, with pictorial visuals of holy shrines where Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji left his footprints.
