Shimla civic body to go paperless under e-Vidhan Project

The Shimla Municipal Corporation (MC) will soon become paperless on the lines of the Vidhan Sabha.
It will become the first municipal corporation in the country to go paperless under the e-Vidhan project.
It’s a very good initiative, as it will save a lot of paper and effort. At present, the officials print so many copies of each document that go waste after the meeting.
The MC has also decided to revamp its website to make it more informative for the general public. Information related to development works will be put in public domain so that people know about projects under implementation. This will bring more transparency in working.
