Haryana Government launched Ayushman Bharat Yojana to provide Health Insurance Cover of Rs. 5 lakh to all poor families.For this purpose, CM has launched official portal for Ayushman Bharat Haryana Portal for Health Protection Scheme. People can access the portal at ayushmanbharatharyana.in.

Scheme :

• National Health Protection Scheme (NHPS) is launched on the event of Independence Day (15 August 2018) in the state.
• All the families whose name appears in the List of Rural and Urban beneficiaries as per SECC 2011 Data can now avail the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Swasthya Suraksha Mission (PMRSSM).
• The treatment will be completely cashless and paperless under Ayushman Bharat – National Health Protection Mission (AB-NHPM).
• Beneficiaries can fill the Ayushman Bharat Yojana online Application Form or can make registration at CSC’s, claim money for secondary and tertiary hospitalization at fixed NHPM package rates.
• Each beneficiary would be issued a card with a unique QR code and he/she would have to produce it at the hospital.
• The chief minister directed the hospitals to stock up on medicines so that patients did not need to purchase them from outside.

Ayushman Bharat Haryana Portal for Health Protection – Features :

People now can avail various benefits on the Ayushman Bharat Haryana Portal. The important features and highlights of HRY-NHA Portal are given below :

• Hospital Empanelment– All the hospitals in Haryana can now make Online Empanelment to join the Ayushman Bharat Yojana in Haryana.
• Hiring of Ayushman Mitra– The state govt. will hire various Ayushman Mitras to make people aware of the scheme and to assist them in their claims and registration process.
• Download Documents– Download Essential documents to avail the treatment benefits under Ayushman Bharat Haryana Swasthya Suraksha Mission.
• Apply for NHA Internship Program in Haryana– All the interested candidates who wish to join NHA HRY Internship can apply online.
• Download Haryana Ayushman Bharat List of Beneficiaries– To avail for the cashless treatment, the citizens now have to check whether their name appears in the list of beneficiaries or not.
• Eligibility Criteria for Haryana AB-NHPM– People should fulfil all the eligibility criteria to avail all the benefits of Haryana Ayushman Bharat Yojana.

Analysis :

• Out of 1,350 treatment packages provided by the government of India, about 266 packages are reserved by the state government for public healthcare system in government hospitals of the state.
• The people in Haryana who cannot afford treatment in hospital. Now they will be benefited with a portal which is launched by Haryana Government.
• The treatment will be given completely cashless and paperless under the Ayushman Bharat – National Health Protection Mission (AB-NHPM).
