The land limit has been extended by exercise of the powers conferred by the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 and the Odisha Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Rules, 2016.
KEY HIGHLIGHTS:-
=> As per a decision revealed by the federal government, non-public corporations can now buy 500 acres in rural areas and 100 acres in city centres. Earlier, the restrict for direct buy of land was fastened at 200 acres and 50 acres in rural and concrete areas respectively.
=> The federal government is taking some proactive measures such because the enhancement of the restrict for buying land by direct buy for fast and seamless improvement of industrialization within the State.
=> The land restrict has been prolonged by train of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of part 46 of the Proper to Truthful Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 learn with rule 47 of the Odisha Proper to Truthful Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Guidelines, 2016.
