Krishna Singh was born on October 21, 1887. When Gandhi ji started the non-cooperation movement, he gave up advocating and spent the rest of his life in public works. They were arrested for boycotting the Simon Commission and participating in the Salt Satyagraha. He was elected a member of the Central Assembly in 1937 and Bihar Assembly in 1937 also and after this he became the first Chief Minister of Bihar in 1937. He is also known as Bihar Kesari.
