Raghunath mahato was an Indian Freedom Fighter and a Social Worker from Kudumi Mahato Community born on 21stMarch, 1738 in Jungle Mahal. He joined the Indian Independence Movement and led a revolt against East India Company in 1769. He was one of those first people who fought for the freedom. He martyred on 5th April 1778 (aged 40) fighting against British Force in Silli, Jharkhand.
