Punjab Co-operation and Jails Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa on July 8,2020 digitally inaugurated state-of-the-art Technologically Advanced Cattlefeed & Allied Industries Plant of Markfed at Kapurthala from Head Office of Markfed .

This plant would cater to the nutritional needs of the Animal Husbandry sector with the production of rich nutritious composite cattle-feed on scientific lines. Markfed will soon come up with a similar plant at Gidderbaha.
