Online lottery scheme sales banned by Punjab govt to check illegal sales On January 31,2020 the govt of Punjab has banned the sale of all types of online lottery schemes under section.
5 of the Lotteries (Regulation) Act 1998 in order to check for illegal sales. The act will not only check illegal lottery business but will also boost Punjab’s tax and non tax revenue.
