Explanation:

Suren Mahanta carved a niche for himself in the theatre world through his indomitable acting talent. He got involved in the theatre world acting in the historic theatre platform like Baan Theatre, Rupayan, Swargam etc., establishing himself as a an unconquerable theatre personality. Later he joined mobile theatre and became a major presence. He got the best actor’s award, Bishnu Rava award, along with Assam Government’s artistes’ pension.
