Dhupgarh is the highest peak of Madhya Pradesh, Satpura range and also Mahadeo Hills is part of Satpura range. It is almost 1352 m high. Dhupgarh hill is in Panchmari in Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh. Panchmarhi is the only hill station of Madhya Pradesh located in the Satpura mountain. Hoshangabad is the birth place of Makhanlal Chaturvedi and the famous Tava coal area is also in Hoshangabad district.
