Explanation:

All the three sites have been declared as new Conservation Reserves due to their ecological, floral and faunal significance and for the purpose of protecting, propagating and developing wildlife and aquatic fauna and their environment.

1. Beas River Conservation Reserve (the area of river Beas with all its water channels from 52 Head Talwara to Harike Barrage).

2. Ranjit Sagar Dam Conservation Reserve (in Gurdaspur District).

3. Ropar Wetland Conservation Reserve (In Ropar District).
