The Punjab Khadi Board organised Pushpanjali Samaroh on the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi at Punjab Bhawan.

Board chairperson Mamta Dutta said the Punjab Khadi Board as well as Gram Udyog Board were committed to provide job avenues to the youth of state. This year, the board will set up 2,000 units in the state.

The board has been active for the last 60 years to provide employment opportunities. The board has been running projects worth Rs 25 lakh under the Pradhan Mantri Rozgar Utpatti Yojana of Central Khadi Gram Udyog Commission.
