For travelers travelling in the state of Rajasthan is easy. Economy of Rajasthan depends on tourism therefore it is important for the State to have a good network of Transportation. There is a good connectivity of the four metro cities (Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi) of the country with the major towns and cities of this State. All the major cities of India are connected to Rajasthan via the rail network.
There are plans for setting up a novel Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) from Delhi to Mumbai.
