Haryana will be the first state to conduct geo-mapping of urban properties. The urban local bodies department is all set to have mapping of cities done through drone cameras. Once completed, it would ensure zero-errors in details of properties falling under civic bodies.This will reduce time in calculation of levies, which will make the bodies financially stronger. As of now, Haryana have 81 civic bodies, which include 53 municipal committees, 18 muncipal councils and 10 muncipal corporations. After geo-tagging, agencies hired for assessment of tax will have real-time survey. This will be compiled in the mobile-based application.
