Mahendragarh district has rich mineral deposits. It enjoys unique position in the state but it is irony of the fate that these deposits have not been tapped to the desired extent and add negligible contribution to the district economy. The important minerals found in the district are lime stone, marble, sandstone, iron or silica sand, feldspar quartz, calcite
etc. Though Mahedergarh is the district which has abundance of mineral and forest resources yet area has no industrial unit. People are forced to be dependent on agriculture where as they can play an important role in economic growth and development of the state.
