The Chief Minister launched ‘e-Bhoomi’, Land Purchase Portal for government projects and to simplify the property registration system, so that the people do not have to visit government offices for registration of property.Punjab is the first state in the country to start online property registration.The ‘e-Bhoomi’ Portal is being developed by Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC).The portal would also be capable to handle even voluntary offers for sale of land by the landowners to the government. This would help the State Government in preparing its own land bank.Independent departments, HSIIDC, land owners, land aggregators, revenue department and local district administration would be the major stakeholders in this system.Public notice and advertisement would be released by the indenting department for land procurement and the offers could be made within a period of 30 days.The landowners would have the option to input details in Hindi also and get the acknowledgement of the application through SMS or Email. Unique Service Request number would also be generated for tracking by land owners or land aggregators.
