Explanation:

The civil lines police station at Bathinda has been converted into a first of its kind ‘model police station’ with host of services being upgraded for public convenience. Bathinda range inspector general(IG) MF Farooqui inaugurated the refurbished police station.The police station has been provided with different enclosures at reception for males and females. A spacious and well decked up waiting area has been constructed and arrangements of solar panels have been made for power consumption.
