=> The licensing process of the airport has also been completed and flights will start flying from Bokaro and Dumka airports from January 2024.

=> After the start of aircraft operations in Bokaro and Dumka, Jharkhand will be ahead of Bihar in aviation services.

=> The Civil Aviation Ministry has also planned to revive the airports of Hazaribagh and Daltonganj after Bokaro, Dumka.

=> Work on this has started. With the opening of Bokaro Airport, passengers from many cities including Dhanbad, Giridih, Purulia of West Bengal will get convenience.

=> Bokaro Airport has met the security standards.

=> After investigation, permission has been given to operate planes at the airport.

=> Flybig and Alliance Air have received permission from DGCA to fly from Bokaro.

=> 70-to-80-seater aircraft will operate from Bokaro airport.

=> The length of the airport's runway is 5400 feet (about 1.65 km).

=> Therefore, permission to operate small aircraft has been received from DGCA.

=> It is known that BSL already had an airstrip in Bokaro.

=> Here the work of developing other infrastructure including ATC tower, runway, fire feet, passenger lobby, main gate has also been completed.
