Why In News?

• Rajasthan's Art, Literature and Culture Minister Dr. B.D. Kalla told that regular publication of monthly magazine Madhumati is being done by Rajasthan Sahitya Akademi.

Key points:

=> Art, Literature and Culture Minister Dr. B.D. Kalla told that after publishing 48 issues of this magazine, the e-book has been uploaded on the website of the Academy.

=> Madhumati issues contain articles of famous litterateurs and great men from all over the country and Rajasthan.

=> Apart from this, if an article of a foreign language has also come, then its translation has also been published. Dr. B.D. Kalla said that the book 'Gandhi Sabad Nirantar' has also been published by the Academy.

=> It is noteworthy that Rajasthan Sahitya Akademi was established on January 28, 1958.

=> During the year 2013 to 2017 no work has been done by Rajasthan Sahitya Akademi Udaipur for translation of literature of other Indian languages and foreign languages.
