Chetar Chaudas Mela is held in Pehowa,Kurukshetra District annually. It has the holy Saraswati tank which is also known as 'Saraswati Teertha' or 'Prithudak Teertha'. Chetar Chaudas Fair is held during spring season. Pilgrims, both Sikhs and Hindus, flock to this place to offer 'pinds' for their ancestors as Yudhisthiar had offered 'pinds' in memory of all their relatives killed in the Mahabharata war. Pilgrims take ablution in the Saraswati tank during this fair.
