The event is 17 June 1857. During the conflict between the two sides of the army near Lhama, Nawab Noor Samand Khan of Rania had withheld the path of the English army with four thousand soldiers and fought bitterly. In this struggle, 530 soldiers of Nawab were killed, who were thrown into a well. The well is still telling history to the National Highway. In addition to the elderly people around this, freedom fighters have the knowledge of the importance of this well. According to the incident related to this well, on 8 June 1857, General Vanford Land of Ferozepur was coming to retake it in the Sirsa region with five hundred soldiers and two artillery. When the army arrived on 17 June 1857, the Nawab of Rania stopped the English army and fought. In this struggle, 530 soldiers of Nawab's army were killed. The British threw the bodies of these soldiers into a well. After that Indian people started to know this well by name in the name of bloody wells.
